SUSAN WILSON

Inspired by The Poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard I began to build metaphorical spaces that embody my memories, dreams, and secrets.  They take the form of a house, tower, or room and the access to each.   The interiors, seemingly barren, speak to me of past presences, fading away with the passage of time. These spaces surround me with a quiet that nurtures me and invites me to remember and dream.  I yearn for this refuge for my imagination.
